Patio Enclosures® Three-season Sunroom Turns Unused Space into Added Square Footage
The roof over this open patio in Windsor Mill, Maryland, did very little to protect the homeowners from the elements and nothing at all to protect them from insects. When they decided to enclose the porch and expand their living space, they contacted Patio Enclosures® of Glen Burnie, MD.
A design consultant visited with the couple, took photos and measurements, and suggested they enclose the area with a three-season sunroom. Designed and engineered by the in-house staff, the room has become an extension of the home that complements it and adds value.
A white aluminum frame resists fading, chipping and peeling and the insulated roof provides strength and insulation from the sun. The shed roof blends with the home’s architecture to enhance its outdoor appeal.
Inside, vertical blinds allow the homeowners to control the amount of sunlight entering the room while they add an element of privacy. Used for dining, television watching and just relaxing, the owners get far more use from the space than they used to with the old patio. Said homeowner, Betty, “I enjoy spending time on the patio and would like to thank you for the experience.”
